The Technology Development Fund of the government of India has a funding offer for developing a ‘digital instantaneous frequency measurement’ (DIFM) unit, for R118 Radar Warning Receiver System.
TDF has not given much details, but has said the project is “to develop the DIFM to extract digital 12-bit resolution from RF input received through the Front End Amplifier (FEA) of R118 RWR system.
A DIFM is a ‘digital frequency discriminator’ device whose purpose is to measure the frequency of the incoming radar signals.
As always, TDF funding is available to Indian companies (where foreign ownership does not exceed 49 per cent), partnership firms, LLPs and individuals. The available funding it up to Rs 10 crore, subject to a ceiling equivalent to 90 per cent of the project cost.
